Sorry if this has been asked before....
I flashed my perfectly working CUSL2 last night to BIOS version 1003 final. The flash went fine, there were no odd error messages, it said exactly what it should.
But as soon as I rebooted I get the ol' "No Signal, check video cable" message on my monitor. I guess there's no video signal at all going out. I tried plugging into the onboard video and the same thing happened. It said "reset bios defaults" when I got done flashing, so I tried to do that even without a video signal(by counting my key presses and hoping I hit the proper options in the invisible BIOS. :)
Am I screwed, what else can I try????
I pulled the battery, but only for a couple seconds, I hear it should be out for half a minute to reset the BIOS though, so I'll try that when I get home. What else can I try when I get home to fix the darn thing?
I have the 1001 BIOS backed up to disk if that's any help, but I don't see how it could be if I can't even see a prompt to start the flash process again.
Help????!! :)

Alright, that's what I'm thinking I'll try. Thanks guys!!
Also, if that doesn't work, I may try ripping out the AGP video card and booting from the onboard VGA.
They warned about changing a setting in the bios before flashing, here, but I didn't read that before flashing. Hopefully one of these two options I have will work.

I did the same thing as you for my first BIOS update and got a black screen as well. I pulled out the battery, video card and discoed the power and it still wouldn't boot. After this I pulled the power from all of my drives- floppy, hard disk, and CD. After this I was able to get into the bios and reset to defaults. Since then I have reset to defaults BEFORE updating with great success. So Plug into the onboard VGA, pull the power, pull the battery, pull the power from all drives, pull your video card and wait 5 minutes. Put in the battery, plug in the main power only and swith it on. You should be able to get into the bios now and reset it. Try this if simply pulling the battery and power doesn't do the trick.
