no txt attachments on unlocked phone

I just bought an unlocked Sprint/AT&T phone off ebay. I am on AT&T. The phone is great for the price except txt attachments sending or receiving does not work. Is there a setting I need to change???

Suggestions???
 
Usually companies will have the settings on their website on what you need to change in the phones or some will send a file to your phone with the setting. Go search the AT&T site or google it.
 
Are you referring to Text Messages? Or Text Attachments to e-mails?

Color me confused.
 
The phone is a motorola razr v3. All txt messages work fine. It is attachments to txts that don't come through...
