it was painful to watch
One of my favorite parts of the last year is all the people who spent 2017-2020 unable to find time to listen to or read the insane shit the last president was saying have suddenly had their schedules really open up and now they are watching press conferences, etc.

Good for you guys! A healthy work/life balance is important, and I’m happy to hear that around mid January of 2021 that finally happened for you.

anyone that can express coherent statements? Not sure what your point is about the trump comment
I see this complaint frequently from your ilk. Can you provide examples? There are plenty of critiques of Biden's ability to publicly speak, but coherencey isn't a really big one. I do agree with others, as well, that find it surprising that a whole bunch of people who supported Trump are now taking issue with coherencey when most of his speech is largely nonsense.

You need a bit of work on your comprehension and understanding. Maybe "take it slow" and re-read what you thought you were replying to.

Trump always appeared lucid to me. I often didn't like what he was saying, but I always understood it.
Really?

That's just a tiny tiny bit. I mean the man was, literally, incoherent constantly so it just seems a little awkward to me that all of sudden certain folk are really concerned about Biden's ability to be "coherent."

Sounds more to me like some people are willing to bend over backward to make excuses for "their guy."

I added only the "<-". The rest of it was actually part of the original. My bad, I think I could have been much clearer with what I meant by replacing the 1 with a bold 2 in 2021. Mid-January 2021 was a year ago.

So, no Republican that has ever existed. Makes sense.
Weren't there a lot of Americans during the cold war and earlier who wanted to attack China or let Russia fall to the Germans? Obviously this didn't happen, but I would consider that being pretty tough on those countries. I suspect some of these people were Democrats, and some were Republicans.

The only threat Russia poses to the United States is mostly Cyber Security related and a little bit related to nuclear arms as well. When it comes to China however, it the amount of imports the U.S. is getting with China. Trump really f'ed up in the way he did his trade tariffs. Placing tariffs on China, Saudi Arabia, and Russia was not a problem. It all went wrong the moment he started placing tariffs on random countries and allies even. Had Trump only sticked the tariff on those three countries, there would not have had been a crisis within the American agricultural industry. China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia do not make up even a total of 25% of all farm produce exported from the U.S.. It was the trade tariffs with Canada, Mexico, and other nearby allies that caused the crisis.

Everything Trump would start, at first had a good effect, until his next move which was always a big blunder, that would cause all the good to be wiped away and replaced by a down right dump. Trump would not even realize how he was the one at fault all the time, and would place the blame on one of his staffers. However, it was Trump after all who brought that staffer in, while disregarding all the criticism of how he was making a big mistake by making that person one of his staffers.

Last spring we listened to an Obama speech and then his audio book on a road trip. It's staggering how far we fell from his oratory skill

When Obama spoke, they called him elitist. Said he didn't speak like the common man. The haters can't make up their minds.

I guess if Biden or Obama didn't speak with a 4th grade vocabulary calling everything the "greatest", "best ever" or "like no one has ever seen, righties can't understand. However they did understand praising Nazis

You remain confused and aren't even aware of it. You are trying to correct someone else's remark that didn't need it, you just misunderstood it. He meant Jan. 2021 (when Biden took office), not 2022.

Slow your roll; maybe read a post again or read further back for context if need be. Think about it before replying to it.
