Check your state laws on what the legal age of consent is.

I am no lawyer but I think you are fine. I think in my state (Alaska) one has to be 16 and has to be within a three year age difference.

Needless to say when I was 14 and dating an 18 year old...it was illegal. Fun, but illegal. 😉
