BY my clock I have a speak icon when i click on it I get this message.

"There are no active mixer devices available, to install mixer devices go to control panel, click printers and other hardware, and then click add hardware. when i click on add newhardware and lick on all the sound options it say everyone is working fine.
I get some sound but playing music or videos there no sound.
 
Maybe try to reinstall your drivers for your soundcard.

You will usually be able to find those from your motherboard manufacturer's website, or by the computer manufacturer's website (ex. Dell, HP, Gateway, etc...)
 
An old trick is delete your sound card in device manager & reboot. Hopefully the OS will reinstall the generic windows driver & mixer.
