No Sound

OK I have a Santa Cruz installed and also SoundMax (which is the onboard Audio on the motherboard.) I set in Control Panel Audio/Sound my Santa Cruz as the primary sound hardware, but still not getting any audio on Windows Media Player or in webpages. I get sound in my winamp though. Any ideas on how to fix this?? much appreciated.
 
You need to disable the built-in sound from the BIOS. This includes disbling the game port/MIDI port (and its I/O address too).
