No sound in Firefox - fixed by install of Adobe Flash Player

If I watch a video in my Firefox 3.0.5 there's no sound. If I go to the same page in my IE 7, sound is fine. I've got a Hercules GTXP soundcard, no particular issues with it, using the most recent driver.
 
Installing install_flash_player.exe fixed the problem, per suggesteion in the link in last post.
