Just installed Soyo 7VCA MB (ATX) on Celeron. It seems to run fine but will not softboot, e.g. while installing win98, it will not go thru the reboot cycle unless I turn off the power and turn on again, is there a setting in CMOS I am missing.

would appreciate help.

Are you running a Celeron 566 overclocked to 850 Mhz. If so there are a lot of people, including myself running different motherboards having the same symptoms, no relief in sight. Radarman

that is interesting, yes I am running it overclocked, running 566 to over 760.

It is a minor annoyance...

Yes it is a minor annoyance, however it's not suppose to be happening. I can live with it, but I would rather not. It gives me an excuse to go to a AMD Thunderbird, or Duron on the new MSI K7T Pro II
motherboard. It appears that Intel will not be comming out with any 100 Mhz. FSB Celerons till next year, besides the Duron is outperforming the Celerons. I wish there was a Motherboard, Processor Guru out the that could come up with a fix for the problem. Radarman
