About halfway through my installation I stopped getting a signal. "No signal". Now on startup, I only get a black screen. Also, my onboard video is currently disabled. Not sure what to do. Any help would be awesome.

remove the card, try it. If it is still black put an old card in and try that

Did you have a video card before? Or were you using onboard? Did you plug your monitor into the graphics card or the motherboard?

Clear your CMOS (with the power cable unplugged). It should reset all your defaults, and if you have a iGPU, it will default to that.

Thanks for the swift responses, guys. I removed the CMOS and video card, then ended up doing a system restore. I think the problem was the video card itself. It wouldn't install the latest driver. It would actually restart the computer while installing the driver. Oh well, i'll have to use the onboard for a little while longer. Sure am getting sick of it lol

Is this an AMD RX series card? XFX RX 470 4GB with hard-swap fans, by any chance?

I had similar things happen with mine. IIt has left me wondering if the card burned out or is defective.

It will do a clean format of Windows 10 and pull down a working default driver, though.
