Doesn't effect me too much, personally, my 6800GT is showing its age compared to the newer products. I was planning an entensive upgrade around July 06 timeframe, I'll just have to make sure I get a card with HDCP. Its another check box on my list.

Here is a question though. If I had a fully HDCP compliant system, will I be able to make HiDef backups of HD/BD movies, the way I currently do with many of my DVDs?

Who needs to upgrade to the drm infested windows vista anyways. Its going to be full of bugs when the os is released.
