You should convert to Judaism, us Jews grow black beards well into our 60's. 😀

I've never been a beard guy but I'm trying it this year. Going on about 3 weeks since the last shave. Not really sure I like the look.

Me too. I'm actually standing here waiting to take church directory pics now and I look like a hobo. lol. I don't care though, I'm seeing this through to the end. Don't really want the pictures anyway.........
 
My 2nd year doing it. Seems to be growing much faster this year too. I've thought of letting the full beard grow but it would be a bit much.
 
No can do. Our office = professional appearance = clean cut and no heavy facial hair.

Little bit facial hair is ok but full grown beard is not.
 
Did anyone actually go to the site and read what this is about? It is not about letting your facial hair go without trimming.

It is about growing a moustache. There is a whole website dedicated to it with rules if you wish to participate.
 
For you it's Movember....For me it's a second Mocktober!

Also, a forehead should be adorned by nought but a pair of bushy brows!
 
Started Friday. Already covering the face. By Thanksgiving, I'll be a card carrying member of ZZtop. Why is it that I can grow hair everywhere but the top of my head (and ears thank God).
 
I actually just shaved my beard. I did Movember the past few years, but gave it up this year. Too much other stuff going this year on to worry about fundraising.

I have gone with the "no shave ever" for quite a few years... I still trim every couple of weeks, but, shaving is overrated.
 
I have been going against policy at work for about 2 weeks now. One more week and I will have to shave it off. its just getting good too. I like having a face blanket in the winter.
 
I'm at about 3 months growth right now.
I want to aim for growing it out until spring.
I comb the shit out of it all the time, so it is kind of annoying at times.

I don't care to take pics atm. Have been trying to get things together to do a video update, but shit is currently eluding me.
Will have a video update at the end of the month for sure though.

wash your beard, 2-3 times per day...uses soap

it will stop itching
 
I found it itched for a few days but now that the hairs are long enough it's fine. It actually does not bother me as much as I thought it would. Almost tempted to try a goatie and keep it. Not everyone has red facial hair, so it would be cool. 😛 Maybe I'd also actually look my age. I could also go with the super long handle bars. LOL
