No Sent PMs in Sent Folder

click on Edit Options
under Messaging & Notification
Private Messaging
Check "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default"
 
Thanks. Is there a reason this isn't enabled by default, unlike most other forums?

(Since is the internet, let me post-preface by saying that I'm not trying to be a dick.)
 
It can be easy to fill up ones overall mail allocation by saving the PMs. One always has the option of selecting the PM to be saved prior to being sent.
