No response after double clicking Setup.exe under WinXP Pro

Hi there,

I have several programs that I am experiencing the same problem. When I double click the setup.exe (eg. WinFax), I can see the process in the Task Manager but after waiting a minute or two I still don't see the installer window. This only happens to one of my PCs. The other PCs work just fine (I am using the same CD). Same thing happens over the network. My other PCs can install the program fine where the setup.exe is located on a network drive but this one particular PC isn't responding.

It is not because the PC is slow. They are all running Core2 E6400s with 4GB RAM. Any idea to why this is happening?

Nevermind... It worked... I uninstalled my HP Scanner program and everything worked. I hated HP but I thought I should try them again after 7 years. They failed me again.
