No reset Switch on my case

I have a nice tower case that has no dedicated reset switch. I have no idea who makes it. I bought it years ago at a trade show.
The thing it does have is 2 connecters coming from the power switch. Could one of these be used as a reset?
There is no electricity in the switch only a way to short the pins. I don't know if using the switch for double duty is a good idea.
The only reason I am thinking of this is the four second delay to power off the system gives the reset time to work.
But I am worried that the reset may interfere with the power on/off.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Mark

Hmmmm, thats a first I ever seen but it could make sense. If you set the Cmos to
the 4 second setting and the reset is instant it could work. Only way to find out is to try it
there isnt any voltage going thru the connectors so you should be ok.

I had an Inwin P4 case about 4 months ago that had no reset switch either.
I just found an old reset switch, drilled a hole in one of my empty drive
bay covers and super glued it. Ran the switch to my mobo and presto.
Doesnt look that bad either,HeHe!

I would suggest getting another momentary switch as well. While you're at it, you can use the power switch as the reset, and get a key-switch for the power :) Good for security and for fun.
