No processor support

My system has been experienceing a lot of lockups lately with a GF4 install that's been pretty rough. And I was wondering if the "no processor support" message under devices (or whatever it is called when you right click on my computer and go to properties in win98) might have something to do with it. I can't get windows to find a driver for it anywhere. Alternately could the usb root hub, which is also saying it's having problems, be an issue. I've just reinstalled 98se. Thanks.
