No power?

version2

Junior Member
Hey guys. I am at work and not near my new mobo but I hooked it up last night and I couldnt get it to power up. This morning I remembered that I never changed the jumper for the clear CMOS settings. If I had the pins shorted to clear the cmos would that make the mobo not power up? Or is it different with different mobo's? I am using a m830 PC Chips Socket A.

Thanks in advance.

Are the fans running? Shorting the "clear CMOS" jumper would definatly make you think there is no power to board. Double check your BERG's, and you should be fine.
