No Power to Computer

Just curious; does this happen when you reboot as well or only on shutdown? How about sleep mode? Does it wake up properly from sleep?
 
This only happens on the initial power on. Reboots are fine. Sleep mode couldn't wake up. I hit all manners of keyboard buttons, moved mouse, hit mouse buttons, monitor stopped getting signal (basically what I see when it doesn't work). The keyboard then went into a seizure (Logitech G15) and the lights on my keys were just flashing really fast.

Powered unit down, pulled and replugged displayport cable (tried a couple, including one new one from monoprice) and PC came back on, windows went "resuming windows" and now it's back on.

I didn't insert anything on that jumper. I read over that part and interpreted it as "default = don't need to do anything". The only ones I put in are the HDD LED, power switch, and reset switch. Double checked to make sure ground was facing the right direction.
 
well in the manual there is a jumper on it for its default setting ...page 1-27... that is one kick a#$ mobo you have there i`ll do my best at helping you to get it happening...shame to waste such a resource...

ok in section 1 of your mobo manual..there is some info about setting the ram to match the rest of the system..it operates via..a small push button switch which syncs up the memory for best timing.. read over that,,and apply that knowledge ...
