It's an annoying accent.

To me, anything north of Trenton sounds like a moderate (NH) to severe (Southie, Long Island) speech impediment anyway.

Of course, I grew up near Philly, so if you'll excuse me, I'm gunna go get a glass a wutter. Can't belief tomorrow's only wensdee.

The Southie accent or Southern accents are disarming. They sound 'stupid' but I've seen way too many cases of brilliant people intentionally duping others into underestimating them.

I'm just agog at the NH accent. I mean wtf?

Oh yeah. Never judge by the accent.

The NH/Maine accents really don't bother me. I can barely listen to the long island accent though. Most southern accents sound ok to me too.

We felt it. I'm about 15 mile from the epicenter.

Damage was devastating.

Felt it in Portsmouth too. No biggie. Made the house wiggle a bit.

Last I heard the quake was centered in Hollis, Maine, which is in the south/southwest part of the state. Tiny town. Probably the most excitement they've had in years.

Survivor in Manchester NH here. Thought it was our upstairs tenants moving some exceptionally heavy furniture, the house shook more than we ever heard it. We still ignored it until our neighbor came downstairs to ask us about it and then we realized it was an earthquake.

I need to make some T-shirts. I survived the Great NE Quake of 2012.

I didn't feel a thing, nor did my GF. We didn't realize it had happened until a friend of her's from the west coast asked if she was alright after the earthquake.
