HI , i'm new here and i really don't that much about computers but enough to know to build a computer. so i recently bought a GIGABYTE EP45-DS3R and everything is connected and in the right place.. heres my specs

Mobo - GIGABYTE EP45-DS3R(new)
processer - Intel duo core 2.2ghz
ram - neneon 1gb x 2 (2gb) PC2-5300 240p
psu - Allieo atx350w
graphics - radeon hd 2400 pro
hdd - seagate barracuda 7200.10 500gb sata

everypiece of hardwear you see here was part of my old mobo, which was a ASUS P5GC-MX 945GC. i don't know if that old hardware effects anything

so i bought this new mobo and connected everything. the cpu fan turns on, power supply, lights on mobo lights up and everything starts up but doesn't beep or shows video on my moniter (which is connected directly into the video card, and also the video card fan spins). so all the fans are spinning but i just dont see anything on monitor or a beep.i have no clue what to do and i tried going to many other forums. please help.

update - i put in my old motherboard and gave it a try.. same results.. with all ram in... with all ram out loud beeping noises occured ( i guess thats what you was talkin about in the first place usernotfound). so i removed one of the ram sticks and gave it a try. BAM it booted up with no problems. beep and everything.. so maybe one of my ram sticks is bad?? cuz i did try one stick on my new motherboard but nothing happened but i guess i left the bad one in... and if the ram stick i do not currently have in the computer while the computer is actaully running is it considered bad?? also i FORGOT a very important detial.. i installed windows vista home premium 34bit before i switched out motherboards without installing the drivers of the old mobo.
