divider has nothing to do with chipset--it is part of the clock generator chip. and it is up to the mobo maker to implement the dividers of the chip.

It has been established by VIA that the KT400 North Bridge does not support the 1/6 divider although the clock generator does. There is no KT400 board available that has the 1/6 divider functioning. ABIT originally had the feature available in the AT7 MAX 2 shipping BIOS, but released the latest BIOS revision that excludes it totally.

Perhaps the KT400A will address this issue. We will just have to wait and see..... ;)
