Well, you've certainly managed to degrade this down to the typical teenybopper "conversation", hope you feel pretty cool by now. Btw, don't call me "son" or "kid", all you're doing is making yourself look like a condescending jerk with nothing to say. Fortunately such attNext time you want to involve yourself, you might try actually saying something instead of being a smartass. Good day, I'm not wasting any more time with rubbish like this.

find out private hubs on your college's intranet. We had a few at our university, I was constantly on there transfering over 40GB's per day (for what I rather not say), never got tagged by the IT department (unlike some of my friends).

I had a feeling you wouldn't be able to make it through your first day at school.

Contribution: Stay in school, don't do drugs, stealing is bad mmmkay?

Why can't you get an off campus apartment and a cable connection. then all of your P2P problems are solved.

On-campus is probably cheaper, though some schools will offer you Internet if you're off-campus. Not sure if the same restrictions apply or if they're just helping to subsidize the price, I have never explored it past that. Not sure where the OP is, but anything "liveable" for students would probably need a roomie or two, if that's no big deal.

Mango...*sigh* whatever. I have pm if you need to act like this, don't derail the thread.

Universities generally won't care that you steal, however they do care when 85% or more of the network traffic is P2P. Keep in mind the school provides the internet service, and they may restrict it however they see fit.
