no...NO!!! Anyone but Aaron Rodgers!

And from the “why shouldn’t Bodog.com put out odds for who will be voted as the Madden ’12 cover?” department, here are the odds for who will win the honor (and perhaps the vaunted curse).

Aaron Rodgers 2/3

Michael Vick 3/2

Adrian Peterson 12/1

Jamaal Charles 12/1

Peyton Hillis 12/1

Danny Woodhead 14/1

Drew Brees 25/1

Patrick Willis 30/1

If it’s me, I, of course, would go with Rodgers, because that seems so freakin’ obvious. Plus, you have to discount the PETA influence on Vick’s voters (that’s sarcasm, people). But if I was to go with a darkhouse, I’d go with Woodhead. His run in the past year has simply been outstanding (from the outhouse with the Jets to a major star with the Patriots), so why wouldn’t it continue?

Woodhead? Nah. Hillis is the most "Madden" worthy on there. Guy is a freaking beast. And when I say "Madden" worthy I mean just a good old fashioned bruiser of a player.

I didn't write that. It's from the article.
Sadly Rodgers IS the obvious and likely pick...

Rodgers is an almost guarantee I would think. Packers won the Superbowl. They did it on the strength of Rodgers more than anything else. And he overcame being in the shadow of Favre to do it. If it had been the Steelers who'd won I don't think Roethlisberger would've gotten the cover, what with the whole sexual assaults and all.

Aaron Rodgers is immune to the Madden Curse.

If they put him on the box, it will enhance his playing ability, and he'll come back, stronger and better than last year.

<crosses fingers>

How the hell is Drew Brees even listed? Even at 25:1?

Marshawn Lynch has a better chance of making it (not that he will).

Woodhead had a great year, however look at his supporting cast or rather the distraction that he didnt cause because of who his teammates are. Now you look at Hillis and his team you quickly realize the Browns are dog crap at the base of my shoe. With that said for Hillis to have the exceptional year he had (minus the last 3 games) I would say Hillis has earned it over Danny dickhead I mean woodhead lol (just a joke I am a big DW fan).

Fact of the matter is Rodgers will get it. He deserves it, he waited his turn to come through the jungle and emerge the best of 2011. By the way the curse ended last year so don't worry about that.

Actually The packers shouldn't have even been in the play offs . They lost the First Vikes game on a Bad call from a reply that the NFL said the TD should have counted . Than the packers scored on a TD that was shown to be incomplete pass. The refree was right ontop of it yet didn't make the Call . The Packs also received help from refrees in 2 other games . I am done watching MOB controlled Sports.

Brees won't make it because he was on this year's cover. Rogers will probably be the guy. However, if we're absolutely, 100% sure that the curse will strike, my vote goes to Tom Brady.

He was my savior in 2 of my 4 FFB teams lol.

is there going to be a nfl season this year?

As of right now NO
I am going to be at a loss if there is no season...:colbert:

aaaaaaaaa 😵 So one game the first at that determined their 12-7 regular season??? lol.
Lets also not forget the average age for a referee in the NFL is ~51. People start losing vision and decisions become a little more indecisive. This is nothing compared to the fiasco they had with the NBA refs.

You mean they WON their first game against the Vikings when they should have lost due to poor officiating.

That may be true, but they still played well. They lost a lot of really close games basically because they were unlucky. If their luck had been different against the Vikings, who knows how they would have played in their other games?

i thought Vick was on the cover before?

also Brees and Peterson?

Vick and Brees have been. Peterson hasn't and probably won't. The Madden series has adopted the NFL's Super Bowl MVP formula to determine who makes the cover - just slap the winning team's QB on there and call it a day.
