No network connection win7

My computer is not connected to the network,
Network and sharing page keeps flashing network 2, not connected, enabled, keeps flashing trying to identify the network 2,etc.
No internet connection.
I am plugged into the router, and set static address.

You sure the addr you set is in the same subnet as the router?

And a subnet mask, default gateway, DNS server.
