"No Network card"

I installed XP on my new computer, and I was about to install SBC DSL, it wouldnt work, I called them and they said I have no network card, I know that I ordered one and pretty sure that I have one.

Anyone have any tips for me to get on the interent?

(Interent Explorer will not work, so wont the IP address)

1. Right Click on My Computer

2. Click on Hardware

3. Device Manager

4. Under Network Adapters you should see something if you have a NIC.

1394 is Firefire.

Either you do not have a NIC, or you have onboard one and you need to enable it in the BIOs.

In any case it is a $5 thing so do not get too upset.😉

If you would like help you need to describe better what is the hardware thta yo have, and what you are doing with it?

We do not know what Motherboard you have and whether there is an NIC in it or not.

Reads the manual and if you can not do it yourself give clear detailed info.

You plug the cable into what?

What Bulb got On?

😕
