McCain is just stuck in a tough spot.

When you're down like he is your only choice is to attack and tear down your opponent. He has come out and defended Obama several times, it's just hard to do because basically you have to, in the course of the same speech, talk about why Obama is a good person and then talk about why Obama is a bad person.

Hmm. So, you know McCain very well then, eh? Like, good buddies?
You can be political enemies and still think your opponent is a good person. Just because you differ greatly in political ideals does not mean you cannot be reasonable. I'd say both McCain and Obama think the other guy is a good man in daily life, and from my viewpoint, they both stand for some great things, just how they politically perform in regards to those ideals they stand for is different.

One just has empty promises with no honest detailed plan to go about the things he stands for, while the other actually has reasonable and achievable political goals.
