No more WoW

I don't play WoW, but it looks like they have some major server issues. I didn't know you could be too popular for your own good in this business :Q

Sounds like a good policy...

It seems that servers vary widely between very few problems and very many =/. I haven't been on in a few days because of Resident Evil 4, but my server was generally fine after the first week. Blizzard has been giving out subscription extensions too.

Yep. Blizzard rocks with the way they've been handling any problems that do arise. I've had absolutely 0 problems since the first week of retail and I see that they've been giving free time to those that have.

If do not already have a subscription to World of Warcraft, it might be awhile until you are able to get one. To say the least, the ?test run? they mentioned in their January 10th press release has not been going so well.

Well, my server has been rock solid for some time now: Sargeras. It was put up the second archimonde got railed into oblivion the first week.

But the problem is that they have a rediculous ammount of servers running right now, and are possibly looking at the reality that they may need more. I think they've done well considering the demand and despite the problems.

Skace, not everything is perfect on Sangeras. Remember a few weeks ago when you raided the Alliance in Stormwind?s tramway then went to Ironforge?s tramway? I accidentally ran into that raid. After that raid, I saw your dead body on the floor, in the same spot, for two evenings in the Ironforge tramway. I wonder why.

Overall, I think Sangeras has been pretty solid server

Eh, we spirit ressed after wiping in IF because everyone was tired. Corpses don't go away if you spirit res IIRC.

PS: Your alliance is a bunch of whores, thats why we like raiding them 😱

I'm a bit worried that it is a fundamental flaw in the game's architecture. It's been two weeks and drastic moves like this make me think it's a pretty tough nut to crack. If population is the thing that reveals the problem, though, they could always add a bunch of servers and let people migrate.

they got 80 servers already... some arnt even being used hardly at all..
the problem is people dont want to join a low pop server...

Gorefiend started out as low pop now its medium almost all the time...
its alot of fun...

this was old news btw.. they released more copies of WoW on tuesday... gamestop and EB have them back in stock now in Houston..

Haha, Thanks! Taurens are ugly 🙁. If/When we raid IF again, I'll be wearing my pimp outfit, so I'll be a lot more stunning 😱!!

You did kill me during that raid in Stormwind. The Alliance was wondering if the Horde?s were on the otherside of the instance. I told them I would cross the instance and if I didn?t come back alive, that would indicate you were there. My plan was to sacrifice myself and leave the higher levels for battle. Obviously, that didn?t work. You won.

I wonder why my log shows I hit you. I didn?t hit anyone. It would have been foolish for me to hit a group of higher level Hordes. Although I must say, I was very tempted. I would have preferred to have gone down fighting. Oh well?there?s always another time.

Maybe a good advertising stunt. Free news publicity, and the appearance of it being a wildly popular game (which it is) that would have people who were teatering on getting it jump on it when it becomes available.

an advertising stunt that lags servers and causes login queues would probably not sell more games. more than likely people would get fed up and leave instead.
