Yup, I hate G4 and I hope comcast burns in hell. I wish they realized what a load of garbage that show was... It's so sad that the screen savers is over because they dated back all the way to ZDTV.

I could care less about Leo, as you guys always praise Leo anytime a Screensavers or G4 thread pops up on this board. He wasn't all you guys make him to be, but he was a lot better than the crap they have on there now. I watched the first part of it a couple of weeks ago, and it looks like they've completely moved away from computers. The two hosts just kept running their mouths, trying to out-talk each other, and neither even made complete sentences when they spoke. Then they talked about their favorite sites they'd found, the hot chick said something or another, then they tried to get everybody revved up for some rock band that was going to be on the show. WTF? What the hell happened to the show?
No surprise to me that they are cancelling it. It's of nobody's fault but the producers.

I think Patrick and Kevin did a good job as well. Patrick did a good job keeping kevin in check when he started to rant or get too perverted and added a lot of insight to topics. That's what the show basically boiled down to now, toilet humor and lame segments. I wouldn't doubt that XPlay gets the Axe soon as well.

They're just changing the name of the show to something else. It's about time as far as I'm concerned.... The Screen Savers as I remember it slowly died during those few weeks that Leo Laporte and Patrick Norton quit and the show moved to LA.
I just hope that someone else starts another technology station. G4 killed every good show on Tech TV with perhaps the exception of X Play.

What shows are left on G4? ... If they axe Xplay and The Screen Savers then basically Comcast just bought out TechTV to eliminate the competition since there's no more TechTV shows left. There's nothing too interesting on G4 either.
Screen Savers has been going downhill but I still watched it. They had some interesting stuff on there like putting a PC into a Mac Mini and once in awhile there'd be a news piece that they'd have that I missed on the web.
Sorry to see it go.

Leo was great. Not because of his technical knowledge. Leo didn't know as much as Kevin knows. It was his personality and on camera style are infinitely better than "omg im an ereeet hax0rs !!! look at muh new toolz!" type of persona that Kevin Rose has/had.
Actually, I just read on the G4 forums that TSS isn't cancelled, they're bringing it back just with a different name.

What really sucked was when X-Play got revamped and they added Morgan. The amount of suck it produces is unfathomable.
Trust me, you don't. The show is pretty crappy and slow. Its not the same without Patrick and the hotties like Jessica Corbin on the side
Come to think about it she was the only "hottie" ever on TSS. The rest were nasty.He has a guy co-host who is annoying. And the girl is alright but definitely no Jessica Corbin

Leo and Patrick definately made that show. I quit watching after the whole G4 thing. They ruined that network after that!!!!! :thumbsdown:
Whoa, slow down there cowboy. Kevins knowlege is no where near as vast as Leo's.. half of what kevin knows was obtained from watching leo, and just having lots of people email him stuff because hes on tv.
