No more SogoTrade. Go to "Wang Investments" or switch to something else?

Basically ST, which is owned by Genesis Securities, is leaving the market. They sent me a letter saying that in May they'll transfer me over to Wang Investments for free. Should I just switch my investments to another broker, or just stick with these guys? What should I switch to if so?

I'm not a big fast trader. I generally buy a stock and sit on it for atleast a year. Actually, I haven't sold anything in the 2 years I've invested stocks, and I'm only invested in a few at this moment.

I just need a stable service that provides me the basics. When I want to sell, it should go through quickly. I don't need all these crazy options of charts and figures, nor do I need exotic financial plans. When I mean "basics" I simply mean what I said a few sentences ago: let me buy stock and sell it with low fees and a stable connection. The extras really arne't needed (unless I'm missing something, in which you guys can explain it haha)

why domt u try optionshouse.com , i believe it is 2.99 per trade. I have used it for three years and I like the low cost.

so finally ready to switch....been lazy about it, but there is something i want to invest in...

should i just do what the OP suggests???

my interests are still the same as before...a stable service that gives me the bsics.

sogotrade sucks, i have no idea what wang investment is.

I was going for cheap trading cost and pretty much burn me in my butt when i had to file taxes.

i recommend tradeking. 5 bucks a trade and good service. let me know if u need a referral, we can both make $50 🙂

I still use optionshouse. Great service, quick trades and very cheap. if you invest in penny stock and related stuff, then it get expensive.

But it is 2.95 a trade for me.so check it out

Lightspeed online pentrader system (not lightspeed's software) is cheapest evar. $1 per option trade.... <$1 for stock trades (essentially free). It's the most basic system evar and you need to get real time quotes elsewhere, but it's the cheapest evar
