Ah, the mating call of the Neanderthal. So turned on right now.

Ahh you are too stupid to do your own research so resort to childish name calling as usual.

Feb 28th Louden School District pulled support for Dr. Seuss books. Read and weep you Neanderthal.

Read the NY Post? No thanks.

Here, let me show you how to quote relevant sections of your sources:
The company said it decided in 2020 to remove the six titles.

"Dr. Seuss Enterprises, working with a panel of experts, including educators, reviewed our catalog of titles and made the decision last year to cease publication and licensing of the following titles: ‘And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,’ ‘If I Ran the Zoo,’ ‘McElligot’s Pool,’ ‘On Beyond Zebra!’, ‘Scrambled Eggs Super!’, and ‘The Cat’s Quizzer’."

So much for your timeline.

So much for your timeline.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises announced on March 2, the author’s birthday, that it would stop publishing and licensing six Dr. Seuss books that have been criticized for how they depict Black and Asian people. About three dozen titles from the author will remain on bookshelves, including the popular "Cat in the Hat," "Green Eggs and Ham," "The Lorax" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas!"

The announcement was made AFTER Louden School District and Biden announcements. They can claim to the world they were thinking about removing it a year before, but it was ANNOUNCED on March 2nd 2021. That's why it smacks of censorship with most people. You have again once proven you have no reading comprehension as I said the publisher ANNOUNCED on the 2nd which was after the statements made by other orgs beforehand. The fact is that the publications for those books still were being continued until that announcement by the publisher was made. That such timing makes everything sus.

You read the nypost? This explains much.

It smacks of censorship with most Neanderthals. Go back to Youtube. There are some really good videos explaining how our planet in actually flat.

I don’t watch CNN but when it comes to accurate reporting I don’t buy that. The nypost specializes in click bait tabloid stories for the easily influenced.

I read a multitude of news sources. Typically WSJ, AP, and Reuters tend to be the most neutral, but I linked the nypost since it had articles showing the timeline for what I was trying to present Dank69 with in response to his stupidity.

It smacks of censorship with lots of people. I didn't say it was censorship. It gives the appearance of it given the timing of the events as I have noted. The fact you rather try to bully and humiliate people that have a different opinion than you for a given scenario shows how much of a low life you are.

I rag on you specifically because you specifically are a dense piece of shit. BTW I checked the NY Post link and if you click the link to their source for your claim, it is from the Daily Wire. The school district, Loudoun County Public Schools, issued a statement that Suess books have not been banned. In other words, everything you claimed is actually false. This is why you get reamed for having shit sources. You do not know how to vet your sources. Until you learn this simple task, stop fucking wasting everyone's time with your shitposts.

You are a dense piece of shit who always resorts to name calling first. As for how dense, I never said the books were BANNED. I literally said they were removed from the recommended list and were NOT banned. Seriously, you need your head examined. You keep throwing out strawman statements like that. You are literally the one with the shit posts. Again, I said that the Dr Seuss books were removed from recommended reading lists while not being promoted by the school district and Biden. Nothing I said was wrong. Go re-read you retard.

The publisher chose to do this when Trump was still president.

That's their claim. They only announced it though on March 2nd 2021, and the books were in publication up to that point. Which seems sus that their claims and announcements happen AFTER what was done before. My original post was trying to point out that the timing of everything was why people were having the opinions they did. I was not claiming there was a direct causation either.

You think they couldn't have thought about doing it before doing it? That seems to be what you're saying.

Your point being what exactly? That companies aren’t allowed to make decisions if there is a possibility of it looking like their decisions were influenced by political figures?

That Biden and the Virginia school board have some sort of influence on publishers?

Is there any conspiracy theory you won’t latch on to?

They could have. I am not saying that they were planning on removing those specific books or not. The fact that those were the same books removed from the Louden School District recommendation list though is sus to that claim. Sure it could have coincidentally aligned that way. I have no proof either way. Nor am I making a claim either way. I am just pointing out the circumstances of why people find it a little too much of a coinky dink.

I know you didn't say they banned it, your sources just heavily imply it with their biased articles. Your problem is that you hand-wave away statements that directly refute your arguments.

1. Why should copyright holders be obligated to publish books?
2. Why are copyright holders obligated to license works?
3. What is the target demographic for children's books containing racist imagery?
4. In regards to those concerned with preservation of history, specifically Mulberry Street, which editions are considered historical in nature and that it's continued publication is imperative. The original version that was published from from 1937 to 1977 or the current re-written version published from 1978 to now.
5. In regards the books that contained outdated references to Inuits and Asians, why is it important for Children's books to contain these images?
6. Are publishers obligated to license and publish individual titles of a dead author regardless of sales? It's is common for publishers to halt publication of books (also known as out of print). Is there a lists of authors where you believe it should be mandatory by law to continue publishing their works?
7. Do copyright holders have the right to make their own decisions, whether on moral or business reasons on the content they produce?

My point is that the timing makes it seem that the statements by Biden, Louden School District, and various media outlets prior to the March 2nd announcement by the publisher makes it feel like indirect censorship to many people. People here being the average person's take on the situation. Again, I have no problem with the publisher removing those books from publication if those books just aren't worth it financially. They probably aren't worth it. If it is indirect censorship though I have a little problem with that. Let me as a parent decide what my kids can or can't read. I don't want any org deciding that for my family.

All of your "suspect" evidence can be easily explained. A few different groups of experts all examined the exact same evidence and came to the exact same conclusion? Conspiracy!

How is removing books from a recommended list stopping you from reading them? Should all books be published forever so that you can read them to your kids if you decide?
