Just would like to rant a little here and get other's opinions on this. Where I live there are no major video rental stores, just a local store and a couple stores of the same local chain. Well, the local chain was the only place for 30 miles to rent a Dream Cast game. (There are acutally 2 of this store in our town, I have no idea why.) But no more, I went to rent a game or DVD or anything on Wednesday night to find out that they had sold all their DreamCast games for $15 each to make room for PlayStation 2 games. Why?????? They said that DC games weren't renting too well, and they needed more shelf space for PS2 games. I refuse to go there any more because of this. I'd hate to tell them, but there's gonna be a whole lot less PS2 consoles around than DC's for quite awhile. I really think that if Sony doesn't start pumping out units soon, people are going to forget about PS2 and get DC instead. And when that happens, I'll be the first to walk back to the local video store and laugh in their face.
