Frenchie -- What would the FCC do if they caught you with these? Like I stated in a previous post, the frequencies that the 100km phones use is in the allocation for DoD Aero. If it was in a more public band, I would jump on it....

Garlicboy:

You would most likely be facing Federal Criminal charges filed by the Attornye General, DOD and FCC's Compliance Bureau. If the act was committed knowingly, you are looking at a hefty fine (I've seen some in the 100,000's and million's) and your looking at a little jail time as well. If it was not knowingly, which is doubtful given the disclaimers, you would have a fine in the several thousands at the lightest and face a small amount of federal prison time and a long probationary period.

P.S. I used to decide FCC violation cases and even prosecuted a few. Lotsa fun!!!
