There are too many people that don't like spicy for it to survive. McD's has the cheap food, and around here Jack in the Box has the selection. BK needs to focus on fairly good quality staples if it's going to keep its niche.

I think their biggest loss is the price jacking over the last five years. I am not paying $8 for a freaking whopper meal.
