It's crazy. 70 year old man plays 150 minutes non stop while running around the stage. 50 year old Tool band plays 100 minutes with a 15 minute intermission in the middle. The fuck.

70? Had to look that one up - only 61 according to Wiki

I'm kind of impressed by this GNR reunion tour - Axl voice seems a lot better than I expected - wish they could have gotten Izzy back.

And Adler. The new drummer is a bit off the beat, so to speak.

I'm glad I kept quiet about Axl and AC/DC or the Gn'R reunion when the rumors started or I would have probably said something wrong, on the internet. :)

There is plenty of time for Axl to fuck this up but it is off to a very good start.

Three things in life are certain........death, taxes and Axl.

Axl will trainwreck it all.

It's the nature of the beast. :D

Axl's doing awesome so far, much better than one would predict, and AC/DC put themselves on the line taking him on. I think he will improve with the band as well. Trainwreck not found...yet, and hopefully he's in a much better place mentally to take on the load again. As for AC/DC and Angus, fvcking incredible to put that much energy out at this age. He looks to be in awesome shape, and gotta love the heart he still puts into his riffs. *chest pounds*

Axl absolutely killed it in his first show with AC/DC. Nails the vocals, has the sound, just crushed it.

His voice of today is better-suited for AC/DC than for GnR, IMO.

Exactly!

I don't get how anyone is excited about it, lol. He has what, a 30 year track record of this?

You KNOW it will all come crashing down during the show you paid $$$$ for. I ended up never seeing AC/DC - they didn't tour too often and good gravy the prices, when they did. C'est la vie.

I think his voice is a good fit. The problem will always been Axl's history as being a giant douchebag.

Watched a couple videos of the Spain concert, may be a bit biased as more of a GNR fan but liked it better with Axl as lead.

Axl seems like such a bad fit with AC/DC. Besides, I thought Guns n Roses was all back together and about to tour.

The radio this morning had some live footage (sounded like it was recorded on a smartphone w/ smartphone mic).

But I have to tell you, Axl is actually a proper fit for the band. He can pull off the screaming nature of the AC/DC sound.
