No mic in Windows 7

I can hear everything fine. I didnt change anything physically, and If I switch back to XP, it works fine. I cant get it to even register anything is even coming through the mic. So it might be muted somewhere for all I know.

Anyone have any leads on this? I have no idea where to turn.

What's the default sound input in Vista?

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound
Manage Sound Devices
Go to the Recording tab.

The Vista default seems to be the webcam device.

I installed the latest drivers for the card the night i installed Win 7. x64 drivers and x64 Win7.

... ill check the default sound, but I dont believe I saw anything for a webcam when I was poking around on there last night.
