no matter what i do, i can't gain weight!

So, i'm 6', and i've been 125-130 for as long as i can remember. i'm 19, will be 20 in december.

I'm in good shape, don' thave much fat on me (duh), and can bench my body weight or more (160 at one point).

how the fvck do i gain weight?

once i ate 2 big macs for lunch every day for 6 weeks and nothing happened (weight wise...i'm sure it wasn't good for me)


any ideas? excercise wise, these days pretty much all i do is row 5-10k a day with some lifting instead on some days

wow... 6feet 120 pounds and benching 160 pounds.

6 FEET and 125 pounds is a sTick, how the hell do you bench 160 pounds.
 
EAT EAT EAT.... stuff yourself with relatively healthy stuff all day long. Always be snacking on something, make sure to get a good amount of protein and healthy fats (PB, almonds, salmon, olive oil, etc).

Workout with heavy weights, make sure to work on Squats, Deadlifts, Bench and Rows. Heavy compound lifts stimulate growth like no other.

Also, make sure to get lots of sleep.

Finally..... EAT!

that was at my max, 3-4 years ago when i was lifting a lot and doing tae kwon doe every day.

these days its more around 140
 
i have the same problem... even tried taking weight gainer for a week (that 2200 calorie per day stuff) and to no avail... yes I mixed it with milk and drank it before i went to bed 😛
 
yeah, you either have a crappy diet for working out, or you dont know how to workout. i could prolly bench my own weight, but its not gonna do me any good if i can only do it a couple of times.
i would assume you're just not putting any effort into it. eat allot of protine, then go pump some iron if you wanna build muscle that lasts (done use that weight gain crap)

Phase One:
Organize your workouts into three periods, each lasting a month to six weeks. First, go for rapid muscle growth. Do strength training workouts with progressively heavier weights. That means, on most exercises, do 3 sets of 6 to 10 repetitions, using enough weight so that your muscles are fatigued on the last rep.

Phase Two:
Do a strength cycle, and do power lifting-type workouts with much heavier weights. (As with all lifting programs, be careful not to overdo it, and always have a spotter when using maximal free weights.) Thoroughly warm up with at least 15 minutes of light cardio exercise and stretching, then do 4 to 5 sets of 3 to 5 repetitions of exercises like squats, dead lifts and bench presses.

Phase Three:
Do a few weeks of "cutting up," in which you lift lighter weights. Add more cardio exercise and watch your diet more carefully. This doesn't add new muscle or strength, but it sure lets you see what you've spent the previous months building.

Eat fast food with a 2 hour nap shortly after. Repeat as necessary. Shot me up 40lbs in less than 8 months.
 
See a nutritionist. You need to increase your calorie intake slowly but gradually. Chances are you aren't really eating that much more than you had before. Your body probably is adjusting your food cravings to match your regular calorie intake, you need to do it slowly and eat good calorie foods.

If you count your calorie intake everyday, and work out proportional to your intake, you will gain weight. You just need to do more than just eat Big Macs. Weight Gainer is good, but you need to eat it in conjunction with your normal diet, plus for longer than a week.
 
No wait, I got it. Dumpter dive at the local Lipoplasty office, steal all the fat they've sucked outta fat people, inject fat into yourself or eat the fat.
