But, how do you off the sounds in AIM?!?! This is my first time using it.

Found the controls.

My Aim ---> Edit Options ---> Preferences ---> IM/Chat ---> Then the buttons labeled sounds.

Hit IM/Chat on the side, and there will be a Sounds button.
