No Keyboard

Hey Crew

I have a Dimension 3100
I reset the bios with the jumper on the mainboard
Now it will not recognize the USB keyboard
Of course it does not have PS2
I really need to get to SETUP

Any Ideas

It's SUPPOSED to work. Have you tired another USB port and/or an different keyboard?

you'll probably need to re-enable the USB emulation so that non widnows environments can see the mouse and keyboard, i.e. the BIOS.

Well
The ps2 keyboard with adapter would not work so i pulled out a brand new DELL USB keyboard
still no go.
Finally after reading this thread, I dug around and found an old one.
I had tried every USB port on the thing?

Anyway the old one worked, guess third time was a charm.
