No keyboard/mouse support in DSL

I just installed DSL onto a flash drive of mine, and it works fine, except once i get to the desktop, my mouse and keyboard no longer work. The cursor wont move and i cant do anything. Anyone know how to fix this?

If your keyboard/mouse is USB, try using a different USB port, or set your USB to v1.1 only (via BIOS).

If your BIOS has an option for "USB legacy mode" or something similar, enabling that ought to do the trick.
