Some of those are alright, but I don't see me wearing a metallic pink miniskirt anytime soon. Skirt type things are good for active hiking. Full freedom of movement, and good air circulation. I have a few utilikilts, but haven't worn them in long time. I probably should.

I went to this Irish fest years back and they were selling "utilikilts". They were basically cargo kilts and they were like $200, there were a quite a few guys wearing kilts there even though I thought they were more of a Scottish thing.

About the biggest downside of being a man is having super-fragile external sexual organs you have to deal with carrying around in a dangerous, pointy world all the time!

Who the frack decided it was a "good" idea to wear clothing that leaves them even more exposed to grievous harm? (must have been a woman!)

;)

I guess kilts do have some advantages on the battlefield. I will see my way out.......
