Well, it has been a long day at work with employees milling about int he halls.. and not a single incoming phone call..

This economy is amazing...
 
I had to make several business calls today and many companies in the state of MA were closed due to the heavy snow we got walloped with. It was much the same for many places on the east coast.
 
It's been similar to that where I'm working. Some days we get no new orders. January and February are normally slow months, so I'm told, but this is ridiculous.

 
our IVR took the dump today. Some internal tech support stuff worked as well as managed services customers but the internet calls were not coming in. Was nice actually... no people complaining because their outlook express is not working, or people complaining because they can't get to some site, etc... internet customers are an interesting bunch, especially businesses. Most are totally clueless about how internet or email works, and how they are two different things.
