First of all I have an Acura 3.5RL from 1998. Recently I noticed that heat not given at stops and whenever the engine RPM is low. I have to hit to about 2500 revs in order to regain heat.

Car has 166 thousand miles, has been taken for, changed oil, replaced water pump, timing belt, etc. I really really hate it's mush and floppy ride compared to my parent's Lexus RX330 with air suspension.

Earlier this winter, I tore off the plastic underlining under this car... somehow.
Could it be that the air is being picked up from underneath, instead through the engine?

At the same time, I am looking at a replacement. I have been looking at Hyundai Sonata or Honda Accord. I am planning to buy them in a year, most likely used. Pros of 2011 Hyundai sonata as far as I can see, is a very good MPG. Honda accord is just 1mpg away. But I am concerned with how much money I can save. Knowing that Hyundais depreciate, I might even buy a turbo version...

Water pump going bad. Not pushing enough coolant at low revs.

Could also just be low coolant.

Yeap, the problem is fixed.... The level of that bottle was dead empty, and it too a while to fill it up, me guessing that some of the liquid evaporated in the pipes.

Thank you so much.

Btw, any recommendations on those 2 vehicles?

nope you have a leak somewhere either that or the people didn't fill it up all the way to begin with.

Yeah, coolant is a closed system and will not evaporate. Only way to break the loop is if you hit high temps and your cooling system used the relief valve. You might want to check your radiator cap, as the spring might be bad and it is venting the cooling system too early.

I checked everything, Pipes, caps, seals, and it seems that everything is normal... When I am going to do a routine maintenance, I am going ask for people to check.
