I like Opera's look and feel, esp in the new beta 8 version, however things don't display properly for me in a few of the sites I go to, like one of the highly secure sites for my university where we check grades. Opera also doesn't like gmail much either, as some things get improperly displayed there too. It feels fast though, and very smooth.

Overall, I think I'll stick with firefox though, it's free, and it does everything I need perfectly. My only gripe with it is minor, it's the only browser that seems to not display the proper width of a text box on an old version of the vbulliten forums (used at HowardForums) so whenever I post something I have to deal with the thin text box, but since that's it's only shortcoming for me, I'm sticking with it, I had a lot more gripes with internet explorer.

IE 6. i'm not stupid enough to click on popups and visit pron sites, unlike 90% of firefox users. plus IE loads pages way faster then firefox, at least when i tried it a couple of months back.

FF at home mostly. IE if I need windows updates.

At work, I have FF installed, but I just use IE because the intranet pages are coded for IE and don't display properly in FF.

Note, I've had no major spyware problems with IE, I just prefer FF.

both, firefox to keep my mate happy who reckons its the bees knees, and IE for financial transactions.....

the former despite the fact my ISP's overlay of IE works very fast and has some good features (no, not AOL, BTOpenworld) he keeps telling me Firefox has more to offer....sadly i havnt found out what yet...lol but i use it to make him happy otherwise he goes on about it....and Firefox certainly doesnt load pages faster for me than IE...mebbe on older slower computers it has some advantage, i dont personally know, but on my rig which isnt slow by a long chalk IE is the speedier.

the latter is due to the fact i checked with my c/c company and bank and if i use IE for transactions over the net then i am supported in my insurance should something go awry, however if i use Firefox for the transaction then their insurance will not pay out. So common sense prevails, regardless of which is more secure i would rather use the one that pays out if something does go wrong...lol

i also get Garfield every day on my ISP's IE browser setup which makes me happy ;-)

I used FF for a long time. I stopped using it recently because it can't seem to auto detect proxy settings, and thus doesn't work if I close my ad stopper.
