Once again, another case where the reasoning for the decision is worse than the outcome.

Sure, it's pretty crappy that Alabama decided that nobody can sell marital aids. They may have their reasons -- I mean honestly, areas around an adult store tend to be pretty scuzzy -- but outright banning it isn't a solution. But what's more disturbing is that they decided that adults have no right to sexual privacy. That's f%$#ed. The worst-case scenario the majority outlined isn't even applicable. Prostitution is by no means a private matter, it's a business matter. Obscenity is subjective, and if two people feel like saying obscene things to each other behind closed doors, fine, it's not hurting anyone. And Adult Incest... erm, I don't even want to touch that with a 39½ foot pole. But suffice to say that whatever possible good can come of such a ruling based on such a moronic line of reasoning, the bad it may carry with it is much, much worse.

This court is attempting to overturn the "behind the bedroom door" ruling on privacy. The 9th Circuit is known for its extreme left-wing decisions; it looks as though the 11th is its extreme right-wing counterpart.
