i have tried to OC for the first time and screwd up.
i wanted to increase the FSB on my Epox 4PDA5 board, with a P4 prescott 2.8E processor.
so i went to the powerbios and changed the setting from 200 to 205 MHz. since the system started up and all, and was working fine, i went back for more. but i was puzzled whn i hit F4 to access the bios and it displayed the following message:
"No device detected. Utility disabled! Press any key to continue."
now, the system works fine, but i cant get into the bios. i have googled the problem and cant find anything quite like this, so i joined here
does anyone know of an explanation for this problem, or a fix, or if my board will make me quit OC?
its my first experience with the process, and not a very pleasent one up to now..
but live and learn, so now i want to learn!
