Is there a lot of trying to figure things out in the movie? Like for example...Fight Club and the Matrix...he hated them. didn't even finish them because he didn't like that it wasn't just straight forward.

No, this movie is basically about a guy walking around with an air powered captive bolt-gun which he uses to either blow holes in peoples heads or blow deadbolts out of doors. He also carries a silenced rifle which is about 6 feet long to kill people with rather than a pistol. He also walks like Frankenstein. Enjoy.
