No charges expected against Jesus for running over a man

A Virginia man was killed Saturday when he was run over by a big rig while sleeping in a Texas parking lot.


Michael Allen Williamson II had fallen asleep in front of an 18-wheeler in the parking lot of DATS Trucking in El Paso before the accident, police said.

Truck driver Jesus Garcia, 28, did not see the 25-year-old man and moved the truck about 3 a.m., running over him, the El Paso Times reported.

Police speculate that Williamson was intoxicated when he fell asleep in front of the semi.

No charges are expected to be filed against Jesus.
