True, it probably doesnt matter who gets in, at the end of the day.
But... electing Hillary would pass a HUGE milestone in opening up the mens only president club. Sure, many would have to suffer thru 4 or 8 years of Hillary, but just imagine
the women that could actually run in the future and WIN.

So, dont elect Hillary for Hillary. Elect Hillary in order to open a whole new day for
electing presidents. And after Hillary? Maybe someone like Obama or Bill Richardson. Hold your nose and vote Hillary, and move this country on to a new day!!!

I don't see what that has to do with my top three issues. She's addressing them about as much as everyone else is.

That is and always should be a state issue.

My big three:

1) keep away from Universal Healthcare
2) Get rid of the IRS/complete overhaul of our tax structure
3) Enforce illegal immigration laws/do not allow amnesty

Huckabee and Paul are the closest to addressing my three.

1. Restore the rule of law to the Presidency including prosecution of the current regime members.
2. Implement single payer, universal health insurance paid for through repealing the Bush tax cuts and tax increases.
3. Balance the budget through tax increases and spending cuts.

:Q

Since the single most expensive thing we'll ever do is universal healthcare, I suggest cutting that.

So how much will we be paying in taxes after you've increased em at least 2x?

Less than we ultimately pay under the current borrow and spend system. Taxes go up, health insurance premiums go away, it's a trade off. Paying for the stuff we want when we want it is far more responsible than putting it on a thirty year credit account.

I have many more than 3 but here are some in no particular order:

1. Secure borders

2. Ending the war in Iraq

3. Ending the Drug War, fully legalization for pot, no jail time for users of any drug, mandatory treatment instead.

4. Remove favored trading partner status for China, tariff the shit out them for their dastardly practices and currency manipulation. This is one I blame Clinton for, he made it happen.

5. End all aid to Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan.

6. Repeal the abstinence only clause for sex ed funding.

7. Dissolve homeland security, worst idea, ever.

8. Close Gitmo, give the Cubans their land back(lease or no lease), end the embargo.

Many other things need help, Hedge Funds need some regulation bigtime.

We cannot afford paying for senior healthcare over the next 30 years without massive takes increases. It would take even bigger tax hikes to do universial healthcare.

Here are my big 3. Actually, they're so related that they might really be closer to one depending on your perspective. I'm actually not very demanding, things can stay pretty much the same except for these few changes:

1) Give PingSpike and family, or at least whatever class of people PingSpike belongs to a huge tax break. If it has to be at the expense of others, so be it...as long as it benefits PingSpike. Bonus points if the amount of tax PingSpike pays surpasses zero dollars and marches deep into the negative territory.
2) Give PingSpike and family, or at least whatever group or class of people PingSpike belongs to tons of awesome government benefits. Free healthcare, government sponsered fuel oil, government gas card and of course, government paid mortgage are all good starts. A government program that buys PingSpike a new truck and builds PingSpike a new garage at no cost would be excellent if the budget can be made to afford them, also free satalite TV. Absolutely do not increase PingSpike's taxes to pay for these though.
3) The tax break and government benefits outlined in my first big two should be made so that should PingSpike no longer belong to the target group (say, his income increases or he has kids, or retires) that the target group will be changed in whatever way necessary to ensure that PingSpike will still belong to it.

1. Religion 100% out of government
2. Direct opposition to neo-con foreign policy agenda.
3. Return full civil rights to Americans (ie full repeal of Patriot and subsequent acts, full support of gay rights (including marriage), protection of individual 2nd amendment rights, etc)

so, no.

1) Unfair trade with China harming American workers.
2) Unitary Presidency that has changed the fundamental democracy we live in.
3) Money influence on candidates and laws.

Notice how we don't hear about these three things much?

Do you have a big 3 not being addressed?

Ron Paul on all 3, Obama and Edwards on point 3.

I hope Ron Paul stays in the race long enough for the candidates to address #2.

I'm really, genuinely curious about whether or not they'd dismantle any of the overpowering executive branch that GW/Cheney built up.
