Does the Supreme Court know about this? There is more than it just being a public park though. You can reserve areas in public parks creating your own private zone.

How big a file can I post here? The JPGs are around 5.5MB. How big can they be to post. I'd like to post one.
Last time I was at a Cal football game (I am an alum) was as a worker, hired as a temp through an agency. I do live about 2 miles from the campus, so I could get into a game easy enough, wouldn't even have to drive (bicycle). Thanks for the idea. I really need some ideas now on where to go shoot. I've got the camera, need inspiration and ideas. This isn't my P&S, which I could just pack with me if I think I might want some pictures. Family occasions will just happen, and I can take the DSLR. But I need some ideas for photo taking expeditions. I guess they'll come... ()Kinda sucksI really hate dealing with restrictions like this which is why I'm very hesitant to get a white lens. I feel like the places I would bring it to.... well... I wouldn't really be able to use it anyway.
good to know you're in the bay. if you really wanna try out that zoom lens and some sports photography, if you can get into Cal football games, they allow you to bring all the gear you want.
the stadium security doesn't even care that i run around the alumni side and take the first few seats to do my photoshoots. there's a couple guys who do that with me too![]()
Yeah, that crossed my mind and I almost mentioned that. I've often been tempted to try it but never have! I'm sure I could get some shots from there especially with my 55-300mm kit lens. What about Tightwad Hill?![]()
