No balance control?

So my speakers are a bit offset on my desk and I wanted to trim the balance a bit. Under the volume mixer, though, there is no balance control! Is that normal and is there any way to change it?

There is a balance control available under playback device properties.

I have one in the "Realtek HD Audio Manager" in my system tray.

It's under the Realtek control panel (mixer). It's the slider above the round volume dial.
