I didn't receive an answer to a resent question I had. Can I repost it to another forum? I think it may have been posted in the wrong forum to begin with....

BTW, I couldn't find an answer to this simple question in a few searches, so I'm sorry if this is a dumb question.

Thanks,

Mcurphy

The post is named "CPU speed incorrect in games??" and is posted in CPU / processors and overclocking.

I'm not so sure the problem I am having is really a cpu issue, so I thought I might gain a better response in General Hardware.

Also, it has only been two hours since I posted...am I just too anxious??

Yeah, sometimes it can take a day or more for a reply. What I do sometimes is place a link to the thread in my sig (accessible via the Profile link at the Navigation section of the page); sort of like the link below - I just put it there because it's mildly amusing. If I have a FS thread, or an urgent question, then I post the link to the thread instead. The only thing is that there's a character limit - I think you can only have 255 characters in the signature section. When putting quotes or just text, that's not too bad at all. But when adding links...you might be able to post 2-3 thread links, that's it. The web addresses count as characters too unfortunately. Or fortunately, depending on who's making the links, and where they go. ;)
